We have a strong track record of obtaining not guilty verdicts.
At Siewert & Gjostein Co. LPA, we understand the complexities of criminal cases and have 65 years of combined trial experience. We are known for never giving up on a case and always mounting an aggressive defense.
Drug Defense
More than 65 years of combined experience in felony drug defense
Defense strategies for felony drug charges include the use of diversion or intervention problems, where charges may be dismissed without a conviction. Other defenses might include issues such as illegal search and seizure.
Drunk Driving
Siewert & Gjostein will explore all options for reinstating your license.
In the event of an OVI charge, you should seek legal advice immediately, as you have a limited time to file a not gulty plea or appeal your license suspension. Even first-time offenders often face a mandatory license suspension.
Murder Defense
Defending murder and manslaughter cases for 30 years
Criminal charges involving the death of another person are some of the most difficult and demanding for criminal defense attorneys to investigate and win at trial. And since Ohio does have the death penalty, it is essential that a person accused of murder seek the immediate advice and counsel of the experienced attorneys at Siewert & Gjostein.
Domestic Violence
We have successfully represented hundreds accused wrongfully.
We at Siewert & Gjostein have seen how criminal statues for protecting accusers of domestic violence can be abused by unscrupulous individuals. We believe that neither violence nor false allegations of violence are ever an acceptable response.
Juvenile Defense
We handle every type of juvenile delinquency charge.
A juvenile found delinquent may face a lifetime of problems, including lost job opportunities, ineligibility for student loans and military service, or worse. Even a juvenile found delinquent on a traffic court conviction can limit a teenager’s ability to drive and deny them insurance coverage for years.
